EcoLab is a dedicated sustainability innovation lab within Innov8 Hub, focused on tackling environmental challenges through upcycling, recycling, sustainable architecture, advanced materials, and circular economy principles. It serves as a hands-on space for research, collaboration, and innovation—transforming ideas into impactful ecological solutions.

We create value from waste and build the capacity of individuals to create items of value and beauty out of waste materials, using modern technology and techniques. Through our Expertise, Experts, Technologies and Facilities, we encourage people to:

• Create value from waste, especially metal, nylon, plastic, and textile.
• Promote the concept of a circular economy and adopt a sustainable/ responsible approach towards waste management in their personal and professional lives.
• Enhance the capacities of individuals in relation to waste conversion into value, especially with the adoption of technology in the creation processes.
• Discourage environmental degradation and pollution by creating and empowering a community of experts who will actively engage in upcycling and recycling.
